Auto Clear Browsing Data
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Auto Clear Browsing Data is a browser extension that lets you choose browser data categories and a time range, review the selection, and clear those categories using Chrome's built-in browsing-data feature.
Data handled by the extension
The extension does not collect, read, transmit, or sell your browsing data. When you confirm a clear action, it asks Chrome to remove only the data categories and time range you selected. Clearing cookies may sign you out of websites; cleared data cannot be restored by the extension.
The extension stores your settings, such as the selected theme, language, default data categories, and default time range, locally in Chrome storage on your device. It does not send this information to Rebel Ocean Labs or another server.
Permissions
The browsingData permission lets the extension request removal of the selected browser data. The storage permission saves your preferences locally so they persist between uses. The extension does not request website access, use remote code, or make network requests.
Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if the extension's data practices change. The latest version will remain available at this URL.
